Alone in Fremantle there are some sights, including some colonial buildings, of course the harbor with the old landing stage, the Round House (former prison), the new prison and the Maritime Museum. In the larger area of Perth is the huge Kings Park with Botanical Garden, restaurants and meadows for recreation, even beautiful views of the Swan River. Shopping is recommended on Hay Street.
