The Holland America Line was founded over 130 years ago in Rotterdam and operated on a regular basis from Holland to America. Since 1971, today's Carnival subsidiary offers only luxury cruises in the upscale segment and has gained an excellent reputation here - the Holland America cruise stands for classic cruise ships and excellent service. The MS Prinsendam (about 800 passengers) is the smallest ship, the great liners MS Noordam, MS Westerdam and MS Zuiderdam offer seats for 1,900 guests. Greater is only the new flagship MS Eurodam for over 2,000 cruise passengers. All Holland America cruises are characterized by outstandingly furnished cabins (flat screen TV, DVD player) and a courteous, friendly crew  - welcome to Holland America!
  • The onboard languages offered vary depending on the cruise line. In addition to the German cruise lines AIDA, TUI Cruises and PHOENIX, cruise lines such as Costa and MSC also offer German-speaking contact persons and shore excursions. The onboard languages offered are usually specified in the travel advertisement. There is also the option of filtering according to a desired language.

    Whether baby, toddler or teen - on a journey with children different requirements apply than on a cruise alone or in pairs. So the little ones want to be active. If you are planning a family cruise, make sure that there is an entertainment program for children. For example, AIDA Cruises or Costa Cruises are very child-friendly.     And as far as entertainment and shore excursions are concerned, cruises are as varied as a journey can be.
