Construction for Seabourn Pursuit began in fall 2020 during a ceremony in San Giorgo di Nogare, Italy, and the construction process is in full swing. The ship is due for delivery in February 2023, its sister ship Seabourn Venture is due for delivery in March 2022, and the Seabourn Pursuit is Seabourn's second expedition ship to enter service in February 2023. Both the Seabourn Pursuit and the sister ship Seabourn Venture were designed and built for different environments according to PC6 Polar Class standards and incorporate modern hardware and technology that expand the ships' global uses and capabilities. Each ship will carry two custom built submarines, 24 zodiacs, kayaks and an expedition team of 26 experts with the following task - to involve guests in activities during each voyage.
