The new Iona - the largest, family-friendly ship from P&O Cruises
The maiden voyage of the Iona took place in the summer of 2021. The largest ship ever built for the P&O fleet was equipped with an innovative LNG (liquefied natural gas) drive to enable you to travel in an environmentally friendly manner. The ship was named after the Scottish island of Iona. This is known for its picturesque landscape and breathtaking views of the sea. This is reflected in the innovative design concept of the ship. The heart of the Iona is the light-flooded atrium, which comprises three decks and, thanks to its side glazing, allows an overwhelming panoramic view of the sea.
