After an extensive makeover, the Celestyal Discovery will set off on exciting Mediterranean cruises in 2024. The cruise line wants to make the experience of guests during cruises special, but they can also help make your holiday even more memorable with a heartfelt and thoughtful gift, such as a fresh bouquet of flowers, a bottle of Greek wine or delicious chocolates, with direct delivery to the cabin. You can even purchase a package from the spa and salons to treat your loved one to a pampering day.
Check-in
Check-in for the Celestyal Olympia departures is from 08.30-10.30.

Celestyal Crystal check-in takes place at the following times:
Idyllic: 14.00-18.00
Eclectic: 13.00-15.00
3 continents: 14.00-18.00

Passengers not arriving at the check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure are considered "non-apparent" and Celestyal Cruises cannot provide any refund for these cancellations. You must present your passport and / or identity card and your ticket at check-in. If you do not have your ticket because it was not given to you, you will have to pick it up at the check-in counter. Upon check-in, you will receive your personal boarding pass, which will be used as a debit card and ID card during your cruise. With this card you can make all purchases on board, with the exception of the casino.
For security reasons and to speed up embarkation and disembarkation at each port, your identity card or passport will be kept by the ship's paymaster at check-in at the passenger embarkation terminal; identity cards and passports will be returned to you before the end of your cruise. At all ports of arrival, you only need to present your personal boarding pass if and when requested.
Shopping possibilities
In the duty-free shops you will find everything from souvenirs and clothing to tobacco and spirits. They are well stocked with everything you need, including everyday items and special treats, and the friendly shop assistant can help you choose the perfect gift. In addition, the Agora Shop offers everything your heart desires with exclusive and tailor-made products from Greece such as olive oil, wine, accessories and jewelery as well as special tastings and demonstrations.
Embarkation
Our embarkation process begins three hours prior to the departure of the ship - you must be at the port at least two hours prior to departure to check-in at the cruise terminal. Guests who do not arrive at check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure are considered "no-shows" and we cannot issue refunds for these cancellations.

You will need to present your passport and / or ID and ticket upon check-in. If you do not have your ticket with you because it was not issued, please check with your travel agent to ensure that your ticket can be picked up at the check-in counter. At check-in you will receive your personal boarding pass, which you will use as a bank card and ID during your cruise. You can use this card to make all purchases on board, but you cannot use it at the casino. For safety reasons and to speed up our embarkation and disembarkation processes in each port, your identity card or passport will be kept by the purser during check-in in the embarkation terminal for guests. ID cards will be returned to you before the end of your cruise. You only need to present your personal boarding pass at all arrival ports if requested.
Photography
Aboard your Celestyal Cruise, you will find professional photographers capturing your special moments. Whether you are celebrating your honeymoon, your anniversary or the vacation of your dreams, the photographers can join you on board or when you go ashore and take pictures and videos that you will appreciate. Choose from a variety of specials - you can either buy single photos or a DVD album or download the files to a USB flash drive - and do not forget to buy your souvenir DVD from your cruise experience.
Luggage and valuables
The Celestyal Cruises experience begins arrival at the port. Your baggage will be left at the drop-off point at the embarkation terminal, where it will be scanned for security. After a warm welcome, the cruise line will bring your luggage to your cabin. Please keep all travel documents and valuables in your hand luggage and secure your bags with a lock if possible. You alone are responsible for your belongings while sailing with Celestyal Cruises, so please do not leave them unattended in the public areas of the ship or in your cabin. You can store your valuable items in the personal safe in your cabin.

There are no luggage restrictions. However, we recommend that you do not travel with heavy luggage due to the limited space in your cabin.

Everything is included in the final price of your ticket, so your holiday budget will be met. There is a reason why it was called the Celestyal Inclusive experience. All additional costs such as port and service fees and gratuities are included in the final price of your cruise. This means that there are no hidden fees or surprises, so you can stick to your holiday budget and enjoy your cruise to the end.
Vaccination
Separate regulations may apply to the Covid vaccination.
Internet | Wi-Fi
There are no computers aboard the Celestyal Olympia and Celestyal Crystal. However, Wi-Fi access is available in the public areas and in the cabins for an additional fee.    
Dress code
Day and evening wear
If you travel with Celestyal during the warmer months, from May to September, light cotton clothing will help keep you cool. You should also bring swim suits if you want to swim in the pool or on one of the incredible beaches, as well as sunglasses, a hat and a good sunscreen that will help protect you from the Mediterranean sun. If you plan to use one of the fully equipped gyms on board, make sure you bring proper clothes and shoes (but leave the towel at home, this will be provided).

Afternoons
Swimsuits or shorts are not allowed in the restaurants, but Celestyal Cruises serves a delicious buffet lunch each day on the pool deck, so you can stay by the pool without changing your swimwear.

Evening wear
At the restaurants, casinos, lounges and night clubs and in the other open spaces on the ships, your clothes should be "Country Club Casual" - relaxed but elegant - after 18:00.

Shoes
For your safety and comfort on board, you are recommended sport shoes or flat shoes with low heels. This type of footwear will make it easier for you to navigate the decks and staircases of the cruise ship.

Equipment
You will need a hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, sandals and maybe a small umbrella.
The cruise line also recommends that you bring a camera (for photos, videos or both). Make sure you charge the batteries before sailing - you will not believe how many options you will have to take incredible photos and videos.

Clothes for the day trips
Light cotton or sports clothing that "breathes" helps keep you cool on trips. If you are planning to visit the beach, you will need a swimsuit and sunglasses, a hat and a good sunscreen to help protect you from the Mediterranean sun. If you are visiting a religious or pilgrimage site, please respectfully dress in long pants or a skirt that goes over your knees, and please remember to cover your shoulders.

Dressing up
In the calendar of each Celestyal Cruise you will find special evening events such as the Gala Night, Captain's Cocktail (both during the seven-day cruises) and the legendary Greek Night. For the Gala Night and Captain's Cocktail, please appear in formal wear: a cocktail dress or something smart for women; jacket and tie for men.
The cruise line hopes that you will wear blue and white, the colors of the Greek flag, for the Greek night. Check your daily program for a schedule of all evening events.

You can book shore excursions in three different ways:

The cruise routes take you to destinations that are on everyone's wish-list. To make the most of your time, Celestyal Cruises offers a range of exciting shore excursions. A wide variety of excursions are offered at each travel destination and Celestyal Cruises has already included the best known and best in its travel package for you. Whichever destination you choose, you will get the most out of the experience with the help of certified guides who will ensure that you get to explore these magical places properly so they will remember them forever. In addition, you can be sure that the distinctive hospitality will continue even after you leave shore.
Medical services
Celestyal Cruises has a well-equipped medical center with a doctor and a nurse on board for the length of your cruise. The opening hours of the medical center are listed in the daily program. In an emergency, the medical team can be contacted via the front desk. You can also book appointments with the ship's doctor at any time during your cruise. If you need medical treatment or medicines on board, this will be charged via your personal account.
Please inquire at your travel or health insurance company whether these costs can be reimbursed. The cruise line will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted accordingly.
Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility
Celestyal Cruises asks you to provide complete and detailed information about your condition at the time of booking if you are physically disabled or your mobility is limited. You will receive a medical questionnaire from the Reservations Department, which will help Celestyal Cruises identify your needs and assign you a cabin that will make your trip as enjoyable as possible.
The cruise line makes every effort to meet, satisfy and support the requests, needs and wishes of passengers - be they of a medical, nutritional or other nature. Celestyal Cruises reserves the right, however, to authorize the booking or entry of persons with disability or impaired mobility if the cruise line believes that no safe transportation and no safe stay are granted on board.
Celestyal Cruises reserves the right, if it means that there is a security risk for you or your travel companion, to notify the passenger with special health or motor restrictions. If you or your travel companion needs personal attention or supervision, this must be arranged by you or your travel companion at your expense.
The staff and crew of Celestyal Cruises cannot provide specific ongoing care or supervision, and Celestyal Cruises cannot provide any kind of medical care for a physical or psychiatric illness. If you or your companion needs special seating arrangements during meals, please inform the cruise line in advance.
Please note that guide or assistance dogs must be fully certified, must have received all necessary vaccinations and should have up-to-date travel documents. All documents must be presented to the company at the time of booking.
Celestyal Cruises has a limited number of cabins suitable for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Please also note that not all areas of the ships are accessible or equipped for passengers with reduced mobility. In view of these restrictions, reservations for such passengers are subject to the availability of suitable accommodation on board. If Celestyal Cruises deems this necessary, assistance may be required from a person without disabilities who can service the passenger for the length of the selected cruise to accompany the passenger with mobility restrictions. All associated costs are the responsibility of the passenger. The ships can accommodate wheelchairs of standard size and passengers must bring their own. Celestyal Cruises only has wheelchairs for emergencies on its ships.
Celestyal Cruises is under no obligation to organize alternative activities on board or ashore for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. Celestyal Cruises assumes no responsibility for the part or total inability of these passengers to participate in any announced activities or shore excursions during the cruise.
Please note: for safety reasons, passengers using a wheelchair may not be able to get off in ports where a tender boat  is required.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all interior spaces of the ship, including your cabin. You are allowed to smoke on the open deck, as long as there are no smoking restrictions and ashtrays have been provided (please do not throw cigarettes over the railing).
Pregnancy and babies
For their own health and safety, women are allowed to travel up to the 24th week of pregnancy, provided they have a written certificate from their gynecologist that they are fit to travel. We recommend pregnant women who have not yet completed the 12th week of pregnancy at the time of the cruise to contact their gynecologist.

During the cruise

Entertainment on board
Celestyal Cruises is known for its fantastic onboard entertainment: bingo, cooking classes, dance, exercise programs, games, crafts, language classes, history and archeology lectures, music performances, sports tournaments and knowledge competitions - there is always something to do on board; from children to seniors.
The activities are a great way to spend time with the people you love and to meet your fellow travelers. The cruise line starts with the activities in the morning and continues throughout the day and evening. On board, there is always something to do, even if you only want to meet with a loved one and a backgammon set (there are also ckeckers, chess and other board games).
Cabins
Each cabin has a personal steward and assistant steward to ensure that your cabin is clean, comfortable and safe, and that any questions or requests you may have during your cruise will be answered. The dedicated crew will also clean your cabin twice a day at the highest level to ensure a restful sleep at sea.
Pools
The pool decks are a fantastic place for a refreshing swim or to just lie down on a comfortable sun lounger and order a delicious cocktail. Just take a bath towel out of your cabin and come by - you might even see a dolphin school if you decide to stroll to the railing and let your gaze wander over the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Celestyal Cruises also has a smaller, flatter pool for younger cruise travelers (the size and number of pools varies from boat to ship).
Restaurants
The Celestyal experience begins in the heart of the cruise ships - the dining rooms and lounges. Here you can be pampered by the talented chefs with freshly prepared culinary delights and enjoy fresh Mediterranean ingredients. All restaurants, lounges and bars have been carefully designed to ensure and preserve the intimacy and comfort you expect during a cruise.
Visit the Aegean restaurant for fine dining or the Aura Grill and Leda buffet for something delicious, quick and easy. Both restaurants serve dishes that you will not forget so quickly! Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or their favorite cocktail at Helios, Eclipse or Muses Lounge & Bar. If you are looking for something more comfortable, you can relax with a drink in the Thalassa Bar while watching the starry sky.

Your cruise automatically includes four freshly prepared meals per day. For your comfort and enjoyment, you can enhance your dining experience with more exclusive dishes at an additional cost.

Daily program
The day's program for the next day will be delivered directly to your cabin on the night before. Find out exactly what happens the next day, including schedules for shore excursions, restaurant opening hours and dress code, opening and closing times for all onboard services as well as all upcoming shows or events. It's your practical guide to everything that happens on board and on land, so you can plan exactly what you will do the next day.
Unlimited drinks package
Choose a budget-friendly beverage package to enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while on board. The cruise line has a beverage package that is customized to your individual needs during the cruise. The unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks package includes as many glasses of wine or beer as you like and a wide selection of spirits and cocktails - there is something for everyone. Even better, the package is designed to save you money so you can completely relax while you are on board.
For all minors (under the age of 18), any all-inclusive beverage package on board will automatically be converted to a non-alcoholic all-Inclusive beverage package, which will not serve alcoholic beverages.  
Entertainment on board
The variety of entertainment on board offers something for every age and every taste. From morning to night you will find something that you will love. The packed entertainment program includes activities, lessons, music and dance until late at night, as well as cozy lounge bars where you can sit back with a cocktail or even play areas, a gym and a sports deck. Both children and seniors will be entertained from start to end as you sail with Celestyal Cruises.

Laundry and dry cleaning services are available on board for an additional fee charged directly from your personal account.

Celestyal One fare (from March 2025)
What?
New Celestyal One fare for departures from March 2025. This fare replaces the Celestyal Experience and Celestyal Plus Experience fares. New Celestyal Pay Wallet: A credit can be booked before the cruise that can be used for food and drinks on board. When booking a Celestyal Pay credit, customers receive a corresponding bonus depending on the amount of the credit. For departures to the Persian Gulf until March 2025, the old Celestyal Experience and Celestyal Plus Experience fares still apply.

For Persian Gulf departures until March 2025, the old Celestyal Experience and Celestyal Plus Experience fares still apply. This will be the only fare with Wi-Fi, meals and soft drinks throughout the day and even more catering options than before. For additional drinks at the bar and specialty restaurants, guests can either have their expenses charged to their onboard account or pay in advance with CelestyalPay and benefit from an additional bonus. This makes it easy to use your room card to pay for additional delicious food and drinks whenever it suits you.

Travel documents and visa
You need a valid passport and your e-ticket. Citizens of certain European countries are allowed to travel with an identity card. Please inquire at your embassy to clarify whether you can travel to non-Schengen countries with an identity card or whether you need a valid passport.
