Suduroy, Faroe Islands / Denmark

The island of Suduroy belongs to the Faroe Islands, which lie to the north of Great Britain in the Atlantic Ocean. Suduroy is home to around 5,000 people. There are several small places on the island, most in the east. Tvøroyri (ferry service) and Vágur are the most important places, farther north are the fishing villages Sandvík and Hvalba.
Worth mentioning is also the idyllic Porkeri and the surrounding area.
