Isla Isabela, by far the largest of the Galapagos Islands, is reached via the port town of Puerto Villamil. From the friendly Puerto Villamil you can at least reach the surrounding attractions quickly. The island has some still active volcanoes which shape the silhouette, but are too far away for a day trip ..
