Desroches / Seychelles

Desroches is a diver's paradise which offers some of the most beautiful coral gardens of the Indian Ocean. With endless palm fringed sandy beaches and tropical vegetation Desroches is like a dream island with fine sand and coconut palms. It is 5 km long and 2 km wide. The main attraction in the village is a small shop, which is open once a week. On Desroches sea turtles can be observed, which come to the beach to bury their eggs.

The dive sites around Desroches boast through their wide canyon and the appertaining steep walls. It is a real pleasure to swim between these beautiful reefs. Around the island beautifully shaped reef formations can be admired times and again. In addition to the beautiful coral gardens  one can imagine being in an aquariumand big fish can be seen. From gray reef sharks to stingrays, which are frequently observed, also groupers, lionfish, lobsters, moray eels and barracuda romp.
