Barbados / Caribbean

Barbados is the easternmost island of the chain of islands in the Lesser Antilles between the Atlantic and the Caribbean.
Barbados is an independent state in the Commonwealth and easternmost island of the West Indies,located north of Saint Vincent. The island is 34 kilometers long and max.23 kilometers wide, with a total area of 430 square kilometers.
Barbados' economy remained until well into the 20th century heavily dependent on the sugar, rum and syrup production.

The Harrison caves, the "world of orchids" and an island tour are experiences and sights that you will never forget.

The Caribbean island of Barbados lies between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Caribbean Sea to the west. It got its name from the Portuguese sailors who named them  "Los Barbados". "the bearded ones" because of the numerous fig trees covered with aerial roots.  On the 431 square kilometer coral island live 260,000 inhabitants. Attractions: two botanical gardens, caves and the north and east coast of the island with breathtaking cliffs, picturesque bays and kilometer-long beaches.
