Aldabra is the largest atoll of the world and lies in the Indian Ocean. Politically it belongs to the Seychelles and counts to the Outer Islands. It is under strict protection and thus could keep its original flora and fauna. Because of this reason the atoll is a world heritage site since 1982. Aldabra is, except by few people, unhabited. The Aldabra atoll consists of four main islands, Picard, Polymnie, Malabar and Grand Terre and has a length of 34 kilometres and a width of 14,5 kilometres with a land area of 155 km². Only on the smaller island Assumption, accommodation is offered.

Cruise offers to the port Aldabra / Seychelles
The natural wonders of the islands are the enormous inner lagoons, which fill up with water twice daily and then the water disappears again. Also, it hasn´t been cultivated by people for more than millions of years and thus has been kept pristine. This lagoon keeps an unique ecosystem above as well as underwater, which can be visited during tour offers. Diving and snorkelling at the outer reef, in the inner lagoon or in the both connecting channels cannot be more beautiful anywhere else. Not only the wonderful, endless coral reefs with their snowwhite, lonely beaches, but also the huge gathering of Secheylles-giant turtles and a variety of seabirds (able and not able to fly) can only be found in the wild in Aldabra. The waters of the Seychelles are marked through different attributes. The spectacular underwater granite formations are second to none. The diving cruises offer especially rich small animals and beautiful underwater landscapes as well as reef sharks, turtles and barracudas. In august, whale shark - expeditions take place here. Diving is spectacular. When the tide is high, you just let yourself be carried into the inside of the atoll.
