Tigyang / Myanmar
Myanmar is a state in Southeast Asia, which is also called Myanma Naingngan (Myanmar), in addition to its official name Pye Tawngsu Myanma Naingngan. It borders on Bangladesh, China, Laos, Thailand and the Indian Ocean and is geographically located in the influence area of the Asian monsoon.
Myanmar offers a lush tropical vegetation and a great ethnic and cultural diversity. Golden pagodas and temples bear witness to the power of Buddhism. The pagoda hill in Tigyang offers a breathtaking view of the Irawadi River, and the sunsets there are fantastic. Among the most important sanctuaries in the country are the Shwedagon Pagoda in the capital Yangon, the Golden Rock near Bago and Mount Popa near Bagan.
